Hi - my team is trying to disable the wildcard operation in order to
get Stunnel working with APE so SSL can be used.

The documentation on how to secure APE via Stunnel is a bit unclear to
me.

What is required to run ape over https/SSL? Wildcard certs? If so, how
many certs? Is there any way to disable this wildcard requirement to
reduce cost?

- Is a regular cert for ape.domain.com and wildcard for
*.ape.ape.domain.com required (2 certs) required?

- a regular cert to secure the base domain ape.domain.com and a
wildcard to secure *.ape.domain.com?

- Is there a sample stunnel configuration? I see other examples using
apache proxy to setup the HTTPS

- what is the DNS configuration to support the SSL?

- And, finally, when will native SSL be supported?

Thanks,

J
