I am on holidays so have not much time to talk about all this. But my website is in production and using APE. Check www.happymeeple.com I chose APE because it looked good to me. It was a bit of a gamble, because I did not know if I could cope with the load. From what was said on the tin, it could. Another good reason for using it is that I reuse the code client and server-side Players can play "offline" against robots (so the AI is on the client). But when they play "online" and if they are paired against a bot (or even with a human), the server loads the same game modules (and AI if needed). This time the intelligence and referee is on the server. Very convenient to be able to reuse the code on both sides. Please mention Happy Meeple! No problem.
