        Hi again

So in the other computer (running Windows 7) on my network,
I have set it up so I can go to to the network IP of Ubuntu
that's running the APE Server, port 6969, and see the
        default page:

          APE Server

        No command given.

I can also access the APE_JSF folder through standard port
80, but when I run the check file I get the following error:
        Config values are :
        identifier : ape
        init : true
        frequency : 0
        scripts :http://ape-test.local/APE_JSF/Source/mootools-core.js,ht
<http://ape-test.local/APE_JSF/Source/mootools-core.js,ht>..........
        baseUrl :http://ape-test.local/APE_JSF
        domain : ape-test.local
        server : ape.ape-test.local:6969
        Running test : Setting document.domain
        Can't set document.domain please check APE.Config.domain
        value it should be 127.0.0.1

I added the following to the Windows hosts file in
        system32\drivers\etc\hosts:
        127.0.0.1 ape-test.local
        127.0.0.1 ape.ape-test.local
        127.0.0.1 0.ape.ape-test.local
        127.0.0.1 1.ape.ape-test.local
        127.0.0.1 2.ape.ape-test.local
        127.0.0.1 3.ape.ape-test.local
        127.0.0.1 4.ape.ape-test.local
        127.0.0.1 5.ape.ape-test.local
        127.0.0.1 6.ape.ape-test.local
        127.0.0.1 7.ape.ape-test.local
        127.0.0.1 8.ape.ape-test.local
        127.0.0.1 9.ape.ape-test.local

So I'm not sure what's throwing up the error this time. Any tips again? :)

            Hi,

I'm trying to configure my APE server on Ubuntu 12.04,
but am running into a problem when running the check
tool. I get an error message

            baseUrl :http://127.0.0.1/APE_JSF

            Running test : Checking APE.Config.baseUrl

Running test : Contacting APE Server
            domain = 127.0.0.1
Running test : Contacting APE Server (adding frequency)
Can't contact APE Server. Please check the folowing url
is pointing to your APE server : http://0.127.0.0.1:6969

Is there a way to avoid this problem of putting a
            number before the 127.0.0.1?
