Hi guys,

Some of you have looked at the APE code lately, so maybe you'll have an
idea of what might be going on here.

APE works brilliantly for me now with one exception. I have some Artificial
Intelligence on the APE server. Once the APE has run for over 3-4 weeks
(the memory (VIRT) gets to something like 115000), lots of my computations
stop without any message. It means that my AI is trying to compute
something but the function that is called stops abruptly, never returns and
does not give any error either. I have put a few logs here and there and
there is not one particular spot where the APE misbehaves, I call different
functions of my own and several fail. Obviously the bug appears more often
on the computation-intensive (never more than a few 1/100th of a second I
believe) tasks like the AI.

Once the problem arises, it keeps coming back and I have to restart APE
quickly. That's fine as long as I don't have too many users but if I were
to grow, I would then need to restart APE far too often.

Any idea where that could come from? Memory issue? Why?

Thanks.

Nicolas.
