Hello,

I'm testing out APE on a Linode server. I don't want to commit a domain
name to it until I am able to test it successfully and make sure that it
will suit my needs.

I have my config.js file setup as follows:

baseURL: http://www.{mydomain}.com/APE_JSF<http://www.{mydomain}.com/APE_JSF>
domain: www.{mydomain}.com
server: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:80

This JS file is running on one hosting account for {mydomain}.

The server is running on a Linode machine running Debian 7. This is setup
as a dedicated APE server on port 80. Accessing the IP address returns a
page stating "APE Server, no command given" - server is running and works
well.

Do I have my config.js setup correctly?

I'm receiving
[{"time":"1388626267","raw":"ERR","data":{"code":"003","value":"BAD_CMD"}}]
when running the Tools/Check tool.

The only documentation I can find on this states that I need to have my
subdomains setup correctly. However, correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not able
to assign subdomains to an IP address, correct?

How can I run a test of APE using ONLY the IP address directly and not
using subdomains?

Thanks!
