Hi, Actually, even I am facing the same dillema. I have been learing and working on the hi-ne (Hindi-Nepali) language pair for quite sometime now. If you allow I wish to take it up as my Google Summer of Code project too. However, I did not understand the part in which you said that first send the proposal to the maling list.
