Dear mentor, beloved old-members of the apertium project, fellow GSOC students,

It's with my eyes full of manly tears that i'm writing this mail, which will
put an end to the wonderful experience of GSOC 2011.

The project, as all of you know, started back in late May and sadly the 12
weeks Google gave us are already over.

After twelve weeks of intense work, laughters and virile discussions about the
nature of turkish converbs (which by the way my automatic corrector corrects as
-converts-) the time of saying "thanks" has come.

Firstly, I would like to thank my mentor, Francis Tyers, for his invaluable
work and patience. Dealing with students that are not linguists, nor
programmers, while trying to develop an apertium pair can be really
frustrating.
Thanks Francis, for all you did for us and for showing us that deep inside you,
under your i'm-an-englishman-hence-i-behave you feel emotions like other
humans, and you can even manage to get really upset. tvb.

Then it's time to thank Jonathan, for his deep understanding of the languages
we had to deal with and for being definitely a cool guy. I'm really glad i had
the chance to know you a bit.

I'd like to thank also Jimmy O'Regan, who provided me with useful hints, help
and priceless humor. It's a pleasure to have the chance to laugh with you Jimmy.

Thanks to every member of the project, Unhammer, for his help and kindness,
Tino for his sharp comments about my noob questions. Your help has been really
appreciated.

Thanks also to the other students, Mirlan, Gekz and the other ones I didn't get
to know well. I'm sure we will have time to make it up.

Ah, by the way, my report is here

See you soon

GG

PS: I really don't plan to get out of Apertium, deal with it
