But we are now moving to a new release system for the JARs. It should be
ready really soon (probably tomorrow). In other words, you should really
wait until then to test it. Now it supports 6 language pairs that I
provisionally keep in my branch. It will then support all the released and
compatible language pairs, which means 20 language pairs at least.
Anything I have to know to be able to use it?
No, it's really simple to use. Quoting myself:
If you want to try it, simply copy the JAR to the plugins directory of your

What Apertium installation is used?

It downloads language pair JARs to its directory, and directly use them. So
no Apertium installation is used actually. The plug-in is completely
independent.

It works locally, but it doesn't use the local installation of Apertium. In
other words, it works offline, but it doesn't depend on any other program
(not even on Apertium). In fact, it should even be working at Windows
without any problem.

Almost... As said before, it is not ready yet, but it will be really soon.
I will announce it in the list when it is ready, hopefully tomorrow. I
think that you should wait until then to test both the OmegaT plug-in and
the packages themselves...
