Transliteration has not been used at all in the Java port.
Ive tested a simple example and it seem there is a bug.
Here is notes for the developer (probably me :-) with a simple example to
reproduce:
$ lt-comp lr

How important is this feature for you? It it something that needs to get
fixed or can you live with using the C++ version?
