Ive registered myself as mentor.

As far as I can tell its like GSoC, but it is going on through the semester
intead of the summer.
There is not neccesarily a cash payment for passing, but in many
universities (mine included) we can probably give students ECTS credits for
working on such projects, if there is a local co-supervisor at the
university which can loosely follow the process and do an examination or
project assessment in the end.

For example, as I am lecturer at Danish Technical University, my engagement
can give ~10000 DTU students the ability to participate, with me as the
local co-supervisor.

Register here: Go to http://vps.semesterofcode.com/
Click Create new account <http://vps.semesterofcode.com/user/register>

Choose Mentor as role and get the secret key from me or Francis on mail or
IRC.

Yours,
Jacob
