It was my understanding that, although held at the same time, the
elections to the PMC, and for President, were separate; you were
elected both as a member of the PMC, and as its President. That is, I
did not think a resignation as President entailed resignation from the
PMC, but I see nothing in the Bylaws that affirms or contradicts that.
As such, if you feel your resignation counts for both, I can
understand that, but as it will have been twice that I greatly misread
how the PMC works, and, regardless of how my conduct in this matter
will be judged, I will neither put myself forward for the PMC in
future, nor accept any nomination.
