So, the Debian folks really want things packaged as soon as possible, which
is fine with me. But, the released 3.2 tarballs are 4 years old.

If we're going to push packages to Debian, I strongly advocate those should
be based on 3.3. Otherwise, anyone wanting to work on svn pairs will have
to install the core tools from svn or Nightly anyway, saving nobody any
work.

There's been lots of talk about 3.3 releases and nobody has been against
it, from what I can recall. What's needed?
