Hi Kalyani. Sounds very interesting! I have asked the project
management committee about access. Will have an answer soon.
Cheers
Mikel

Well Mikel Forcada answered you.
We know now creating an account on Apertium wiki is less simple than
on
Wikipedia and a lot of other wikis.
But one year ago and more, there was more than 10 new accounts every
day
(and around 5 each hour at the end) juste created to advertise for a
web
page or a web site without relation with Apertium project. And that
was
a lot of work to clean the wiki.
So, if you want to do positive work on the wiki (or on Apertium
project)
welcome, but in that case, there will not be a problem for you to
give
(shortly) some informations like :
- who are you ?
- what do you find interesting in Apertium ?
- what would you like to change or to add to the wiki ?

Dear Bernard,
Myself Kalyani,I am doing my Bachelors of
Technology in Information Technology.I am having some knowledge in
Machine Translation so I came to know that apertium is a machine
translator. So I am intrested to develop a new language pair
(English-Telugu) .I am learning how to develop a new language pair
and want to share my experience in working with the language pair and
also I have faced some problems in installing apertium which I have
resolved from IRC channel. So I requested to provide access in wiki so
that I can post the problems along with the answers which are
resolved.
