Great to see you are working on this.
Here are my first impression of user (According coding challenge[1] it
should "just work" for the user):
1. IMO you should improve error handling: e.g. if your app depends on
local server app should check if it is running. If not not app should try
to run it. If it is not running app should:
- point user to doc how to install server
- offer user to install server
2. Also it would be worth to have settings (why should I be
restricted to localhost?), store last used translation pair...
