I think I will change fist my Mandriva 2008 On it : - .mp4 videos don't have sound - new version of .flv and .mp4 videos don't work - .ogv videos can crash the file viewer - Firefox 12 works on it but it's quite the newest version working - several sotfware dont run on it (including apertium) - ... but I like the graphic interface for photos. I downloaded newer versions but it was worse to use them, so I did not change at that time. And I may spend time to find a newer version I like. I could say the same thing about other software. Gimp 2.2 is more pactical for me to use than newer versions and Libreoffice does automatic changes (like completion) which cannot be turned off when it was possible in the past. So, updating sometimes, OK, but not for worse (as Windows users do). -------------------------------- Bernard Chardonneau (France) Phone : [33] 9 72 36 32 90 GSM phone : [33] 6 49 95 13 95 Multilingual websites for my free softwares : http://libremail.free.fr and http://libremail.tuxfamily.org http://cyloop.tuxfamily.org (mainly translated with Apertium) My general website (in french only) http://bech.free.fr ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BPM Camp - Free Virtual Workshop May 6th at 10am PDT/1PM EDT Develop your own process in accordance with the BPMN 2 standard Learn Process modeling best practices with Bonita BPM through live exercises http://www.bonitasoft.com/be-part-of-it/events/bpm-camp-virtual- event?utm_ source=Sourceforge_BPM_Camp_5_6_15&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=VA_SF _______________________________________________ Apertium-stuff mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/apertium-stuff
