Dear apertiumers,

I'm happy to tell you that we've recently completed the integration of
Apertium in MateCat <http://www.matecat.com>, a free/open-source CAT tool.
Apertium works online by calling Prompsit's API. We also integrated AltLang
<http://www.altlang.net> (language variant converter) in the same way. We
are offering the service for free at least for 6 months for all users. We
will see then if we can keep it free, it will really depend on the number
of users (the more the better) and on our numbers as well.

If you are curious and want to use it, read how to do it at:
http://www.matecat.com/support/advanced-features/apertium-mt-plug/

We already reported that they don't support in their online version some of
the languages Apertium does: Asturian, Aragonese, Esperanto, Occitan,
Aranese and Catalan (Valencia). Hopefully, they will be there soon.

We are also trying to get Apertium integrated in other similar platforms.
It is, we think, important to spread the word about it. We'll keep you
updated.

all the best,
