Thank you for writing to Apertium. I appreciate your interest in
contributing to eng-hin language pair. I would suggest you a few things at
the moment :
1. Go through this document
<http://wiki.apertium.org/wiki/Contributing_to_an_existing_pair> and other
documents mentioned in "See Also" section. It will help you in
understanding a lot of things about Apertium.
2. {Assuming that you want to translate from Hindi to English} Pick up a
random article from the Hindi news websites and see the translated output
in English. You would find that there are a lot of generation errors (
words marked with * @ # symbols ) , word-ordering errors, etc. You could
start by fixing the generation errors first. You can discuss how to do so
with the community members on the IRC channel.
