Hello everyone,
My name is Bogdan Grigoruta. I am a sophomore at the Faculty of Automatic
Control and Computer Science, University Politehnica of Bucharest. For the
past couple of weeks I have taken alot of interest in the Apertium
project(installing it on my machine, trying to understand the codebase and
the way it works on a macro level) .Right now, I am currently looking to
apply for the Python API/Library project and on my way to finishing coding
challenge number 2 from the wiki( although SWIG is giving me a few
headaches). I think this project would be greatly beneficial as it would
allow people to use apertium from Windows or from their Jupyter Notebooks
while using the very user friendly, pythonistic aproach of "pip install
apertium" and thus increase the chances of people being exposed to Apertium.

I would also be very thankful if someone could help me with a wiki account,
so that I could upload my draft proposal there(username: krudy)! Any
feedback throughout the proposal process would be fondly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Bogdan Grigoruta
