We need to give up some of the pleasantries that do not pay the bills and start producing. We need to cut overhead and start exporting (sell) more than we import (buy). Why can't Chris Dudd and Barney Franc get that thru their thick heads. If we want more, we must produce more. Got it? If we continue to send our factories to the other side of the world, we won't be able to produce as much. What don't they understand? If someone decided to build a factory, it would help the nation's production if some red tape was cut so it would start producing sooner. Why does it take 4 years to process the paperwork to turn the first shovel of dirt to build a nuclear power plant? Building an oil refinery isn't much better, but the truth is, the govt has put up intentional impediments on all kinds of building. That's why you don't see new factories replacing the ones sent to China . Now realistically, we know these guys ain't that dumb. They're better educated than toe average bear and have an army of advisers to keep them well informed. There is a reason they've shrunk our capacity. Listen to them! We shouldn't use 25% of the planets oil when we only have 5% of the population. Stop logging so we can preserve the trees; we can import all the paper we need. What steps do you imagine they are taking to right these wrong? Well, you don't gotta be Einstein to know they know right from wrong. The problem is, they aren't working for We the People any more.
