A Ricky Quicky The link below provides a better than average explanation of the cause of the financial mess we find ourselves. It is, however, a tough read. It is very objective and barely touches on the run on the "money market" that forced Bush/Paulson to act; there is no mention on the real estate bubble other than as "toxic assets". Much of the problem involves the insertion of derivatives into the financial industry, but there is virtually no finger pointing included. There is one other thing unmentioned. No reference the Govts non-banking spending spree.
