It seems to me: 1. it is impeative that the perps be removed from the Justice Dept, to assure the electorate that he/they won't use their govt office to corrupt future elections? 2. a deriliction of duty, specifically fraud, by a fedl official, is a crime under RICO. That's why they wrote the statute. 3. if that fraud affected the possible result of a fedl election, the election should be voided. 4. if the DNC or other indiviuals were involved in this fraud, they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law to let other potential corrupt political operatives to assure the citizens that the election process can be trusted. 5. whether or not the election victor was part of the fraud, he won as a result of the fraud. 6. considering the fact that a single Senate seat can make the difference of ending a filibuster, an honest vote is mandatory. 7. certainly the conviction of a sitting GOP senator impacted on the national election from sea to shiny sea, just like a wide stance and emails to congressional pages *Palin calls for Senator to resign* http://www.adn.com/news/politics/fbi/stevens/story/746047.html Realistictly, nobody in Washington cares about fairness in elections except the losers. This is just a standard election Dirty Trick the DNC has become infamous for going back to when Sen Chris Dodd was the DNC Chairman in 1992 They dropped the 35-year-old Bush DUI arrest at 5 PM on the Friday before election. Since then we've seen the "Jasper dragging", a forged letter accusing GWB of going AWOL reported as fact by a TV network anchor, and 2 homo GOP congressmen outed---all while the MSM was screaming from the highest broadcast tower: *Karl Rove is the master of dirty tricks*.
