This is a real eye-opener. As we know, the great state of Massachusetts is experimenting with "universal health coverage." Mass residents are required by law to carry health insurance just like compulsory auto insurance. I've been surprised that it has stayed solvent as long as it has. I anticipated an exodus of doctors. They've got an historic problem of too many highly paid specialists and too few over worked GPs. Now the secret is out. Apparently, their Universal Health Plan has taken over where the Big Dig left off. (FYI - The Big Dig is touted as the biggest Civil Works Project in the history of the nation, costing US tax payers any where from $15 to 20 Bil, depending on whom you believe.)
