RR: Revolution in Iran brings back fond memories.
It was the successful overthrow of the Shah that I learned to look at the background of the TV riot scenes. It blew me away when I saw a US-style parking meter in the melee. Another time I was surprised to see Moscow had a modern subway system. Check it out for yourself, look at the streets and buildings in the background of the news coverage.
