R. Q. ==> Is this govt still worth fighting for: Stop Cap and Trade in the Senate NOW from RJ <[email protected]<http://us.mc553.mail.yahoo.com/mc/[email protected]> > [email protected]<http://us.mc553.mail.yahoo.com/mc/[email protected]>
Hello everyone, Your Country Needs You Now More Than Ever! Congress just passed the "Cap and Trade" bill without actually having the proposed bill assembled for our representatives to read before the vote this time! The result, our congress has denied We the People a republic form of government and is attempting to dictate to us how much energy we may use and what type of energy is acceptable. Inflation will be seen on every product manufactured or grown and shipped to our stores. Your power bills will go up to pay for these new policies. This bill must be stopped! Call your Senators today and tell them vote NO on the house's bill HR 2454. All 219 members who voted for H.R.2454 without a complete copy to review, nor the time for the house representatives to discuss it with the people they represent. This action by congress is outside the Constitution which clearly states that the government MUST maintain a republic. In a republic, the people rule - giving their voice to a representative. Since Congress did not wait until the amended bill was assembled and distributed to the members; gave no time for the members to read the document; gave no time for the People to be notified of the items in the bill; forced a vote without these due processes demanded by the constitution and the People of the United States, this bill as far as I'm concerned is null and void. Therefore, anyone who would vote YES to pass this without the constitutional authority committed an illegal act against this country. I am distributing this list which includes all member who violated their oath of office, violated our trust in them and did not uphold the constitution. I'm sure they need to hear from you. Let's roll! ------------------------------ “Republicans believe every day is July 4th. Democrats believe every day is April 15th.” President Ronald Reagan While I've been seeking out Independence Day Tea Parties, one story comes out more often that others. It usually has a big headline "Tea Party Cancelled". I must have seen it 4 or 5 times this week. If you skip down to the bottom line you will see a reference to a Tea Party at Cobb County. This was published June 25. Note: no time or Cobb County contact name given. http://wsbradio.com/localnews/2009/06/next-tea-party-cancelled.html ------------------------------ On the other hand, I found this link dated 3 days earlier. http://readmylipsticknetwork.blogspot.com/2009/06/atlanta-tea-party-to-join-with-cobb-for.html ------------------------------ You know, I'm really tired of the so-called media professionals belittling and whining about bloggers.
