A month ago, her margin of support fell to just eight points (42% for and 34% against). Now Sotomayor's margin of support has vanished.
Finally, I ask you to think about the impact of the Sotomayor confirmation fight on President Obama's picks to fill the additional Supreme Court vacancies expected next year and the year after. If patriot supporters of the Second Amendment walk away from this fight, Obama will be emboldened to pack the Supreme Court with additional anti-gun judges in 2010 and 2011.
That prospect is frightening. We will lose not only our right to keep and bear arms, but also all the other fundamental liberties Obama and the Far Left despise.
