Subject: Support Nebraska State Senator Fultons State Sovereignty Resolution

Nebraska's people - Part of the process of restoring freedom is our State
leadership taking a position to protect it's people from federal intrusion.
State Senator Tony Fulton from Lincoln, NE has presented a resolution to our
state unicameral for state sovereignty. It holds no power of law but does
'draw a line in the sand'. This effort is critical to the people's cause of
removing federal jurisdiction from Nebraska Citizens. The rest is up to people
in our State - of which we are doing in a State constitutional amendment for
Sovereignty of the People of Nebraska. Please show up at the committee
hearing in Lincoln, NE and share your voice on Febr. 19, 2010.

A Legislative Resolution introduced by Senator Tony Fulton, LR292, addresses
the issue of State sovereignty. It is a measure that, if passed, would be
officially entered into the Congressional Record and copied to each state
legislature within the United States, urging the United States Congress to
adhere to the principles of federalism in accordance with the Ninth and Tenth
Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.

Increasingly, our federal government is intruding in and attempting to control
matters, such as education and health care, which have traditionally been left
to State or local control. The framers of the Constitution envisioned a limited
federal government with few and defined delegated powers. In contrast, powers
not delegated to the federal government were reserved to the State or to the
people. Preserving this system is vital to the preservation of individual
liberty and, ultimately, to the preservation of our Republic.
The Resolution is scheduled to be heard by the Government, Military, and
Veteran's Affairs Committee of the State Legislature on February 19, 2010, at
1:30 p.m. in Room 1507 of the State Capitol Building in Lincoln, Nebraska. I
urge anyone that is capable to attend.
