Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are preparing a
gauntlet for American freedom in the upcoming
"lame duck" session of Congress. Meanwhile,
Barack Obama is firing up the liberal political
base as we approach the all-important midterm
elections. This is a pivotal hour in our
nation's history! Please read my urgent

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Speaker of the House
Nancy Pelosi are planning to cram as many as twenty (20!)
pieces of radical legislation through the congressional
pipeline immediately following the November midterm
elections. On the agenda so far:
* Recalling the Defense Authorization Bill,
still laden with the radical social riders
including the repeal of the "Don't Ask,
Don't Tell" policy and the Burris Amendment,
which turns military hospitals into
abortion clinics funded by our federal
tax dollars.
* Tax increases, cynically called "Obama Tax Cuts."
* Medicare and Medicaid cuts - now that ObamaCare
is safely (they think) in place.
* Food "safety" legislation, which will
adversely affect many small business owners...
...and as many as 16 more pieces of radical
legislation to be acted upon during the 6
weeks of the final (or, "lame duck") session
of the 111th Congress.
The Obama/Pelosi/Reid axis of power is sensing a seismic
shift in congressional power, obliterating their control
of both legislative bodies. They have now prepared a
desperate endgame to pass bills that would surely fail when
there is a stronger conservative representation in the
112th Congress.
And in anticipation of a poor showing at the polls, Reid
and Pelosi are adjourning Congress a week early to allow
extra time for catch-up campaigning through a larger part
of October.
++The Left's strategy: Lots more of what worked before.
This week, President Obama began his high stakes "Moving
America Forward" campaign, stumping in battleground states
with glowing, high-energy messages targeted to the specific
electorate he happens to be addressing at the time.
Wednesday's rally in Wisconsin is being promoted as the
largest rally since Obama's 2008 campaign days. He is once
again targeting young voters - the core base of his
presidential campaign - cajoling them to get out and vote.
Organizing for America (OFA), the Internet vehicle that was
overwhelmingly responsible for Obama's successful presidential
campaign, has dramatically stepped up the intensity of its
messaging. Here's what OFA is telling supporters this week:
"Thousands of you have already answered the
President's call to donate, volunteer, and
commit to vote - but it's going to take all of
us to stay aggressive over the next six weeks."
Citing Republican promises to repeal their "historic victories,"
OFA is challenging its activist base to mobilize with a
sense of urgency:
"But this election belongs to us - not special
interests. And we've proved them wrong before.
We did it by volunteering, chipping in what we
could, and talking to more voters than any
campaign in history. We have to do it again
this year!"
The radical left's call to action is going to get increasingly
intense as the days count down to November 2. Our voices
MUST be heard above their clamor!

Ben Franklin rose and called on his
colleagues to pray...
*At a crucial time during the Civil War,
with the nation on the brink of total
disaster, Abraham Lincoln "got down on
[his] knees before Almighty God and prayed."
In the midst of great trials, America's people have
consistently and confidently turned to God in prayer!
America's forefathers knew they desperately needed His help
for America to survive. As Ben Franklin famously said, "If
a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is
it probable that an empire can rise without His aid?"
