Dear Fellow Conservatives,
We wanted to make sure you knew the names of the 53
Members of Congress who have signed the Stop Lame Duck
Pledge opposing controversial legislation.
Our work is not through though. There
are only two weeks left to have your Member of Congress tell you how
they will vote on Lame Duck issues and if they will
vote to nullify the election results.
Help
us Continue to Fight!
If Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid get their way they will
enact:
- Higher taxes, a stifling burden on
Americans struggling under this economy;
- Increased spending, which has
already bankrupted our nation;
- Socialized or rationed health care,
an outrageous violation of America's privacy;
- Cap and Trade, a business-killing
act that adds $4,600 to a family's energy bill;
- Card Check, which kills the right of
American workers to secret union ballots;
- ENDA, violates the workplace rights
of Christians and ultimately churches.
- Taxpayer funded abortion, a
controversial issue that many Americans oppose
- Forcing open homosexuality on the military,
threatening our military preparedness.
We cannot let the predicted “Congress of the Defeated”
further harm our country’s economic strength and erode our Conservative
values by nullifying the election through a Lame Duck session. It is
important in these last two weeks that we hold our incumbent Members of
Congress accountable by signing the Stop Lame Duck Pledge!
Don’t Let Pelosi, Reid and Obama run amuck with
our country. Tell
your elected officials to oppose controversial Lame Duck legislation by
signing our Pledge today.
The commitment by our Pledge Signers is just a
start. We need your help to put pressure on those
Members who have not yet signed. There are four things that you
can do to help:
Please take a moment to complete these actions today and
if you can help us continue our efforts by making
a contribution of $25, $50 or $100. With less than two
weeks left to get your Senators and Representative’s commitment
we need your help to ensure that TVC can continue
to put pressure on Members of Congress both in Washington and
in their local Districts before November 2nd.
