The Senate passed this bill to overhaul the nation's food safety
rules. Shortly
after passage, it was pointed out the bill contains revenue raising provisions
and the
constitution requires bills that raise revenue to originate in the House. At
this time, the
strategy to move the bill forward was unclear.
