National Association for Gun Rights to keep the pressure on fence-sitting
members of
Congress.

Dear Ann,
Every minute President Obama’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and
Explosives
RIPS $2,083 from the pockets of American taxpayers like you.
That’s $2,083 to a rogue agency dedicated to GUTTING your Second
Amendment rights!
That’s bad enough.
But now, especially after the recent Arizona assassination attempt, I’m
afraid
President Obama is preparing to unleash a BATFE reign of TERROR unlike anything
we’ve ever
seen -- if he can get the Congressional funding.
If that sits fine with you, you might as well print out and write “OK BY
ME!” on the
mock check above and rush it straight to the White House.
But if you want to STOP the BATFE’s anti-gun witch hunts with your tax
dollars, I need
you to sign the petitions I have prepared for you IMMEDIATELY!
Without your action, I’m afraid even more Second Amendment supporters
will pay the
price -- either with freedom or their BLOOD.
I wish I was exaggerating.
But just consider the BATFE’s track record including:
*** Imprisoning David Olafson for owning an “illegal machine gun” after
his
semi-automatic rifle malfunctioned at the gun range, firing two three-round
bursts before
jamming;
*** Torching the home and destroying the family vehicle of Ron and Elaine
Miller
without even so much as a signed search warrant. Miller’s crime? Upsetting
local
politicians by announcing a run for Chief of Police;
*** Shooting and severely wounding Monique Montgomery during a “no-knock
raid” after
she had the audacity to reach for a gun to protect herself from the armed thugs
who broke
into her home;
*** “Waco” and “Ruby Ridge” where the BATFE’s trumped-up charges and
violent tactics
helped lead to the bloody deaths of more than 75 people -- including 22
children and two
pregnant women.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t help but get FURIOUS every time I
read about
another BATFE tragedy.
But the real bad news is I’m afraid all of that could pale in comparison
to what’s
coming.
You see, President Obama knows he’s facing long odds in his coming
re-election bid.
So he’s desperate to hand his anti-gun pals a “goodie” to ensure their
support at the
polls.
And it looks like he’s turning to the BATFE to give the handout.
Just weeks ago the BATFE imposed new regulations forcing law-abiding
citizens to jump
through even more hoops should they want to purchase more than one
semi-automatic rifle.
And now -- especially after the results of the Arizona outrage -- the
White House
thinks it has been handed the perfect excuse to give the BATFE the green light
to “step up
enforcement” in ALL areas.
I don’t know about you, but that sends shivers down my spine.
The only good news in all of this is that you and I can stop the coming
BATFE war on
law-abiding gun owners -- but we must act now.
Like any federal government entity, the BATFE’s lifeblood is
Congressional funding
with YOUR tax dollars.
And I say it’s time to PULL THE PLUG.
If you and I can eliminate -- or dramatically cut -- the BATFE jackboots’
budget, we
can stop their reign of terror.
That’s why I’m counting on you to sign the enclosed petitions to House
Speaker John
Boehner and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell TODAY.
After all, don’t these Republican leaders want us to believe their new
members are all
“pro-gun?”
Well, fine.
So long as they immediately use their increased numbers to PROVE IT by
stopping
anti-gun witch hunts with YOUR tax dollars and defunding the BATFE.
But there’s no time to waste.
Budget deals are already being struck behind the scenes in Congress --
and you can bet
the BATFE will get a massive funding INCREASE unless you and I put a stop to it.
After the pro-gun tidal wave in the 2010 elections, that’s the LAST THING
you and I
should let happen.
So won’t you please help me sound the alarm and STOP the coming BATFE
assault with our
tax dollars?
First, I’m counting on you to sign the petition I told you about.
And second, I’m counting on you for a generous contribution.
You see, over the next few weeks -- using a massive direct mail, email
and phone
program -- my hope is to mobilize six million gun owners to turn up the heat on
Congress.
If I can raise the resources, my goal is also to place hard-hitting
internet ads --
and radio and newspaper too if at all possible.
In fact, these ads are already cut and ready to go as soon as I can pay
for them.
Unlike the parasites in the BATFE, I can’t show up in the halls of
Congress demanding
your tax dollars.
Nor would I want to.
The National Association for Gun Rights depends solely on contributions
from Second
Amendment supporters like you.
So in addition to your signed petitions, can I also count on you for a
generous
contribution of $30, $20 or at least $10 TODAY?
I can’t stress just how important this is.
In fact, I don’t say this often, but the truth is I’m afraid.
Not for myself necessarily -- but for all the innocent, law-abiding gun
owners who
will have no way to fight back when BATFE jackboots suddenly show up.
Ann, it’s up to you and me to stop the anti-gun witch hunts.
It’s our duty to stop them.
