Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla) also Chairperson of the DNC, including but not limited to, her "cute smile" her charm and oh yes, her "dazzling smile." Wasserman castigates Republicans for believing that illegal immigration should be a crime. Republicans she said have suggested of illegal immigrants "that we should just pack them all up and ship them back to their own countries and that in fact it should be a crime and we should arrest them all.” First of all, Debbie, I never heard any Republican say anything about shipping people back to their own country; however, I would be in favor of that if they are here illegally. Democrats hate the word "illegal" because they love to do so many illegal things...so I know where you are coming from. I am going to put this in caps to help you out. ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS ALREADY A CRIME!! It is a federal and state crime. Maybe we should consider making burglary a crime as well. Most Democrats and liberals know this, but they conveniently ignore the 800 pound elephant in the room, called THE LAW because their party wants, dreams of and lusts after the votes of these illegals. They desparately seek to pass amnesty – which the majority of people in this country vehemently oppose. (But since when do Democrats concern them- selves with the will of the people) Their hope is to use these new illegal voters to replace the millions of legal voters they have alienated. Dovetailing from immigration to racial politics, Wasserman asserts that Republians "want to literally drag us all the way back to Jim Crow laws." Blacks have been here legally for generations. There is no correlation between Blacks and illegal aliens except that in the facile minds of Democrats – Blacks, illegals, whatever, are groups to be used as political pawns. The hallmark of their strategy has been to cause division and hatred between groups in order to get votes. I guess that is easier than implementing sound policies beneficial to our nation. The strategy is causing strife and division and tearing us apart but no matter, what counts is getting votes after all. First let me give you a little history lesson about Jim Crow, oh Deb while you hopefully listen with that dazzling smile of yours. Jim Crow laws were a product of the Democratic south. You might have missed this during recess or while taking a pot break. Or maybe you are a product of the failed public school system, which was hijacked by the ultra Left. During the Reconstruction period the federal law providing civil rights protection for freed slaves was gradually usurped by white Democrats through intimidation of and violence against black voters. Soon thereafter white Democrats regained power in all the southern states. After federal troops were removed from the South, states passed laws that further disenfranchised the black vote. This disenfranchisement continued for decades. Woodrow Wilson, a southern Democrat, established segregation in federal offices. Fast forward to the turbulent sixties... internationally publicized attacks on blacks and civil rights workers (Bull Conner -D; George Wallace also D) led to Pres. Johnson's push for civil rights legislation. Public awareness had grown and something had to be done. Southern Democrats were vehemently opposed and filibustered. ( Thurmond/Byrd) But thanks to a majority of Republicans, the civil rights act was passed. The bill would have died had it not been for Republican support (yes those same bad Republicans who hate blacks so much) This is history, Debbie -- Look it up. And now fast forward again to 2011 –the Dems are no longer riding around with white hoods on their heads or hosing down Blacks in the streets , they just play the race card. And of course, Dems get a big nod and a smile (perhaps a cute one) from the state run and controlled media. It is sad that the racial wounds which HAD been pretty much healed so nicely over time have now been viciously ripped open by the hate politics of the Left. Obama himself, your dear leader, has done more to create racial division than the Klu Klux Klan. Aided and abetted by a lawless attorney general who does not feel white voter intimidation by Black Panthers is really against the law to a director of Homeland Security who characterizes law abiding folks and military personnel as "right wing extremists" and "terrorists," Remember Dr. King’s admonition to judge not by the color of one’s skin but by the content of one’s character. Character is sorely lacking among our elected officials today. Oh and by the by, MLK was a Republican. Yes.
