Attention Arizona residents. Out of state - please pass to your Arizona contacts. The clock is ticking away. Thanks. From: [email protected] TAKE ACTION: CONTACT YOUR FIELD COORDINATORS! Dear Arizona Taxpayer: The time has come to stop preaching to the choir. You and I need to make a difference. AFP-Arizona has tens of thousands of great grassroots activists in Arizona, and it is time to project that force to change the direction America is headed. We have a very narrow window of opportunity to educate our fellow citizens about economic freedom, and about the policy choices this country faces. Most of the time, average Americans try very hard to ignore government, so we need to make sure we're talking to them when they're paying attention. We need to talk to them RIGHT NOW. Unlike President Obama, ordinary Americans understand that the private sector in America is NOT doing fine. But we need to make sure they understand how Big Government in Washington has turned this recession into the longest economic downturn since the Great Depression. In four short years, America's national debt has gone from $30,000 per person to $50,000 -- FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS -- for every man, woman and child in this country. That heavy debt load is a hurricane-sized storm cloud on America's economic horizon. To really get this economy moving, and to rescue American prosperity, we need to save this country from bankruptcy -- from the disastrous fate of second-rate and third-rate economies such as Greece, Spain, Argentina and France. WHAT CAN YOU DO RIGHT NOW? Join AFP-Arizona for Freedom Phonebanking and Neighborhood Canvassing! Americans for Prosperity has placed four field coordinators in Arizona to work with local activist groups to do phonebanking sessions and door-to-door canvassing. Our field coordinators would love to work with your activist group to set up a phonebanking session in the next couple of weeks. AFP will bring food and refreshments, help you rent meeting spaces, and do whatever we can to support your group in its educational efforts. CONTACT YOUR FIELD COORDINATORS! For those looking for a little bit of "adventure travel," we will be sending buses to and from Nevada starting the weekend of October 19, to do door-to-door canvassing and literature drops in and around Las Vegas and Reno. The bus trips, hotel rooms, and food will be free (or what the economists call "unpriced"). Write to me at [email protected] and I will send you a sign-up sheet. Whatever you do in the coming days, please do not be a spectator in the battle for American prosperity and American freedom! And remember to have fun --we're going to work hard to save this country, but we also believe that if you're not having fun, you're not doing it right!
