Hey Chris, I've had my websites moved to a new server with both php4
& php5. And it appears they've installed the needed PEAR modules for me also.

I thought it was only partially working, but I see now that there is
a Description node that contains a paragraph of text.
I just need some of the basic data extracted to a mySQL table:
who, what, when, where, eventful.com link, etc ones that are
contained in every node.
I'm pretty sure I can go it alone, if I had some example code that
extracts the number of records, and shows how to extract the node
values for each record.

It's very similar, so you should be able to swap 'Services_Eventful'
with 'Services_EVDB' in your code sample. The result ($event) is an
XML_Unserializer data structure, so getting the events is pretty
simple: $event->event[0]->title and so forth.
