Sometimes email aliases, etc can mess things up for majordomo; also try
explicitly stating the subscribed address;

ie.
*unsubscribe **listname address*

eg.

------------------------------

An unsubscription request would look something like this:

mail [email protected]
Subject:
unsubscribe testing-list [email protected]
------------------------------

Majordomo's response will look something like this:

From: [email protected]

To: [email protected]

Subject: Majordomo results

--

unsubscribe testing-list [email protected]

Succeeded.
