Hi Skeeve, Thanks for your messages on this yesterday. I want to apologise for the frustration you and other have had with downloading certificates for Chrome when accessing MyAPNIC. You are right. I am sorry this has taken so long. It is something we have had on our list to fix for some time, but other priorities have kept pushing it down the roadmap and meant resources haven’t been allocated to fixing it. But it has been too long, and we need to fix it now. So development resources are being adjusted to make this a priority, and we think we can have this work completed by June 26th. We’ll make an announcement on APNIC Talk when it’s done. Related to this is another project we have been working on and that’s browser independent, TOTP authentication as an alternative to certificates. This was inspired by certificate compatibility issues that have been experienced with various browsers. We are making good progress on this project and we plan to release it by APNIC 40. The aim is to make it as easy as possible for Members to authenticate with MyAPNIC without having to worry about which browser they are using. Again, we’ll announce when this is available. Thanks again for raising this, and I hope the successful completion of these initiatives will mean this issue does not trouble you and other APNIC Members again. Kind regards George On 11/06/2015 3:26 pm, Skeeve Stevens wrote:Thanks Paul. To be fair however... I think I raised this issue a year... or two ago. How long it has taken to support the world most popular browser, isn't really acceptable. ...Skeeve *Skeeve Stevens - Founder & Chief Network Architect* eintellego Networks Pty Ltd Email: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> ; Web: eintellegonetworks.com <http://eintellegonetworks.com/> Phone: 1300 239 038 ; Cell +61 (0)414 753 383 ; Skype: skeeve Facebook: eintellegonetworks <http://facebook.com/eintellegonetworks> ; Twitter: eintellego <https://twitter.com/eintellego> LinkedIn: /in/skeeve <http://linkedin.com/in/skeeve> ; Expert360: Profile <https://expert360.com/profile/d54a9> The Experts Who The Experts Call Juniper - Arista - Cisco - Cumulus Linux - Cloud- Consulting- IPv4 Brokering On Thu, Jun 11, 2015 at 5:24 PM, Paul Wilson <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: Dear Skeeve, APNIC staff are aware of your message, and we do understand your concerns.
