Hi again everyone,

We want to thank the APNIC community members that casted their votes for their
support.

APNIC has supported the ISIF program development since 2008 so we are very
happy to share the news as we were informed yesterday by the ITU WSIS Prizes
Coordinator that ISIF Asia was selected as one of the 90 WSIS Champions for
2018, out of 492 projects from around the world that were accepted, following a
comprehensive review by the expert group of 685 projects submitted by the WSIS
Stakeholders’ community. ISIF Asia was among the top five most voted in the
category International Cooperation category. The WSIS Awards received over a
million votes across the 18 categories. There will be a special Champions
Ceremony on 20 March in Geneva.
