This message is shared on behalf of the Address Supporting Organization (ASO) as a decisional participant in the ICANN structure. https://www.nro.net/accountability/aso-and-icann-accountability/icann-empowered-community/aso-procedures-for-icann-empowered-community-powers/ Notice to the ASO Community on Rejection Action Petition Period for Board Approval of Standard Bylaws Amendments in Articles 8, 12, and 27 of the ICANN Bylaws As a Decisional Participant, the ASO received a notification from the ICANN Secretary requiring Decisional Participants to promptly inform their constituents of the delivery of below ICANN Board decisions on Standard amendment in articles 8, 12 and 27 of the ICANN Bylaws. The amendments are related to the composition and terms of the ICANN NomCom (Article 8 with a transition article and article 27), the implementation of the NomCom Standing Committee (Article 8) and change in how the RSSAC is selected (Article 12). The amendments are related to the IANA Naming Function Reviews and the IANA Naming Function Separation Process.
