Learn new skills with the APNIC Hackathon at APRICOT 2024/APNIC 57

Applications are open to all in-person attendees for APNIC's fifth
Hackathon, to be held on 25 and 26 February 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand,
as part of APRICOT 2024/APNIC 57.
What are 'hackathons'?
----------------------
Generally 'hacking' means looking for an opportunity to exploit
weaknesses in a system but hackathons have evolved to become much more
than that. The APNIC Hackathon will be a cooperative and collaborative
activity, creating free and open-source products. You don't even
necessarily need coding, programming, and software development skills,
as there can be other creative activities involved.
APNIC Hackathons bring together network operators, researchers,
designers, students, developers, testers and even experts in other areas
who can contribute through their experience, despite not
having technical skills.
What you need to know
---------------------
The deadline to apply is Friday, 23 February 2024 at 23:45 (UTC +10).
Attendance is free but limited to 30 participants, and you must bring
your own laptops. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
Participants will also receive a certificate of participation and have
the chance to win assorted prizes.
