ICP-2 Review Webinar 1
________________________________________________________________________
On Wednesday, 30 April, APNIC Members and the community joined the first
ICP-2 Review Webinar to discuss the draft ‘RIR Governance Document’:
https://www.nro.net/icp-2-rir-governance-document
This draft is intended to update ICP-2, the foundational document
outlining criteria for recognizing Regional Internet Registries (RIRs).
The full recording and transcript of the webinar are available:

During the session, APNIC’s NRO NC representatives on the call provided
an overview of the process to date and key areas of the draft ‘RIR
Governance Document’.
A community member also raised a question on whether there is an
expectation for ICANN to organize regular audits of the RIRs after the
new document is adopted. The NRO NC representatives confirmed that there
is an obligation for audits to be conducted but that the implementation
would be a future piece of work.
