Hi ahfu,

Although I believe the GFF3 spec allows for multiple landmarks (column 1),
Apollo expects one genomic landmark per file. My suggestion would be
to write a simple script to split the GFF3 file into multiple files,
with one genomic landmark per file.

Cheers,
Ed

Hi all,
I understand that gff3 allow having multiple fasta sequences in one file.

Suppose those multiple fasta sequences are different chromosomes and each of
them have a few features.

So far, I could not find any option in Apollo to switch between them
(enlighten me if i am wrong). i.e I can only see the last stated
"##sequence-region".

Or gff3 format are meant to only have one chromosome/genome per file?

I have attached a sample gff3 file to better illustrate my point.

Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Regards,
ahfu
