ok - i've found a solution to my own question and it's pretty straight
forward:
private void changeColor(String type){
FeatureProperty fp
= Config.getPropertyScheme().getFeatureProperty(type);//e.g.
type =exon:Genscan
Color newColor=Color.GREEN;
if (newColor != null) {
fp.setColour(newColor);
}
}
Just a heads up that the link to the FAQ is also broken from the
Apollo pages.
