Hello everyone, Aaron recommended me to join this list, as I am interested in contributing new ideas to KDE 4. I am currently writing a Bachelor thesis on "Visualization and Interaction Techniques for Future E-Mail-Clients" and can hopefully propose a few concepts on how current e-mail clients (or even desktops in general) could be improved. Unfortunately I cannot make the results of my work public until the accompanying publication has been handed in for review at a conference (sometime in December). However, in the meantime I'll try to point out a few shortcomings that I have discovered through research and some thinking of my own. Even though it is arguable, I will try to be a bit more radical in approaching problems as I think that doing less is always possible ;-)
