Actually it was photoshop that I was using at the time that I lost my
file :-( The history only goes back so far.

And karbon sucks for a million other reasons. I really don't know why
KDE wants SVGs so much yet is unwilling to make a decent editor for
them. Karbon was a great idea that was simply not worked on further,
even though there were people reporting bugs, wishes, etc.

Whereas this is exactly where I would use it. Between German an English
I tend to save a lot of files for later examination/improvement.

Yeah, a good uasability test to examine such issues would be the best
statistical method of determing the importance of said features.
