Larry,

Thanks for contacting us. We don't have anything in our FAQ about the
filters but I'll write up a description in a response to you and we'll
add it to the FAQ. In Todo 1.2 there are two List Filters you can
set.

"Visible Lists"
This filter will allow you to filter out any lists (Folders on
Toodledo) that you do not want to see in Todo. Let me give you an
example of where you might use this filter. Let's say on Toodledo you
create a folder in the Notebook feature called "Project Notes". In
that folder you place notes about your various projects. Those
folders are shared with Tasks and you'll get a new list called
"Project Notes" in Todo. If it's a list you do not intend to use for
tasks, you can simply filter it out. The same principle may apply to
lists share with people on Remember The Milk. They may have shared
lists that they don't want to view in Todo and those can be filtered
out.

"All" List Filter
This filter works much like the "Visible Lists" filter but it only
effects the "All" list view. The lists will still be shown in Todo
and you can still access them but the tasks from the filtered lists
will not be displayed when you select the "All" list. There are a lot
of uses for this but let me use an example from a Todo user that wrote
in. He creates a "Someday" list where he places tasks he wants to do
someday but doesn't want them shown in his day to day tasks. He
simply filters out that list and he won't see all of those tasks.
Later he can still go into that list and move them into other lists
when he wants to work on those tasks.

I hope that explains the current filters in Todo.

Let us know if you have any questions on them.

Thanks!
