Subject: [appigo-todo] Announcing Todo 1.2

Hello Todo users!

We're pleased to announce the availability of Todo 1.2 on the iTunes App
Store. IMPORTANT NOTE: Updaters, please view the upgrade instructions at
the end of the email before updating to Todo 1.2.

Todo 1.2 introduces many new features and important bugfixes:

- Added "Quick Add" task entry
- Added app icon badge number on/off setting
- Added "Sync at Startup" setting
- Added repeating task icon in task list view
- Added note icon in task list view
- Added priority icons in task list view
- Added task export to Appigo Notebook
- Added task export via email
- Added task sharing via email
- Added completed task synchronization limit setting
- Modified priority buttons to use text instead of numbers
- Fixed empty task list with Toodledo synchronization
- Fixed Toodledo subtask synchronization

Todo also integrates with Appigo Notebook, available soon on the App Store.
Save your important task notes directly as notes by adding them to Appigo
Notebook. In addition, export a note right into Todo to create a new task
from an existing note.

Enjoy!

The Appigo Team

UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS:

Some applications will randomly lose their application data during updates.
This is not specific to Todo, but may occur with any application available
on the App Store. We've put together the following instructions to help you
keep your tasks safe.

NOTE: If you synchronize with Toodledo or Remember The Milk (which we
strongly recommend), restoring your task data is simple; just set up
synchronization again in Todo and synchronize.

1. Back up your iPhone or iPod touch by performing a full sync with iTunes
before installing any application updates.
2. Disconnect your iPhone or iPod touch and install the update using the App
Store on the device.
3. Run the updated software on your device. If you did not lose any data,
then you are finished. If you did lose your data, you can restore it from
the backup you made in step 1. If you just reconnect and sync though, you'll
lose your backup data too because iTunes will overwrite it with the current
data (which was lost). So, to prevent that, you need to do the following:
3a. Disable automatic syncing in iTunes for your iPhone or iPod touch before
re-connecting your device. You can do this by going into iTunes Preference
-> Synching and check "Disable automatic syncing for all iPhones and iPods."
3b. Connect your iPhone or iPod touch and wait until it appears in iTunes.
3c. Right-click (or hold down control and click) on the iPhone or iPod touch
and select "Restore from Backup..." This will start a restore which will
return your device to the state it was in before installing the updated
application.
