I have now purchased Todo. After playing with it, subtasks are still
important but context support is really the highest possible request I
can make. Contexts are, in essence from an API standpoint, similar to
folders. I'm not an iPhone or Mac programmer (and my Windows
programming skills are not top-notch), but I have some scripting
experience and it seems to me that the pattern of folders would be
easy to copy and mimic using Contexts instead, so you could view a
list of Contexts in place of Folders in Todo, without much code. This
is the most-requested feature I can see in this group that's in the
free version of Toodledo (subtasks require a Pro account and are also
very popular). As others have similarly pointed out, you would turn a
vocal minority of "Context-wishers" into vocal word-of-mouth promoters
with these two features, especially Contexts since it's FREE to use
them after purchase of Todo on the iPhone, with Toodledo at least.
I'll be telling the 10 or so people I know who have iPhones about it
when Contexts are supported, will announce it to my 125 followers on
Twitter (80%+ of whom are geeks), and will likely blog about it on my
blog with around 200 subscribers and daily web traffic at least that
high. It's no Digg, but I may submit it there, too :-) But not until
at least Context support is added!
