I was on version 1.1 and I basically went to 1.2 and 2.1 at the same
time. (Because I was on of those people have "unknown error" problems
on updating apps -- which 2.1 didn't fix. I fixed it, however, by an
iPhone reset to factory then restore from backup.)

I bet it's a 2.1 issue. I've seen some other apps also take longer to
start, though not all. (Apple's start faster than before.)

Interestingly, since it took a while anyway, I enabled sync on
startup. That didn't add any additional startup time.

I sort of imagine it's starting faster now, so I wonder if there's
some caching going on.

It's not terrible, I'm glad you guys are on it. BTW, I love the
Notebook app, though I'll love it a lot more when Toodledo extends its
task import/export capabilities to notes.
