Fil, Thanks for the input. I've added your request to our list. I did want you be aware we're working on adding subtask support which will allow you to create a task that is dependent on subtasks being completed. It's not exactly what you are looking for but may provide a solution until we can evaluate your suggestion and see how it would fit into the product.
