Ok, so pre-2.1 everything was just fine. Post-2.1, I followed a tip to get AM/PM display on the home screen for the 12h setting as follows:
"to get the AM/PM working, after you change the time to 24hr, hold the on/off and home button at the same time until the phone reboots. Go back to settings and change back to 12hr time, and you should be able to see the AM/PM" After doing this, the clock on the home page shows AM/PM when time display is set to 12h. However, suddenly all the Todo items have "no due date".
