I am experiencing a similar problem: I have a repeating task (weekly). When I mark as complete in Todo, then sync to RTM, either, 1) the task is marked as complete, but now there are two tasks due for the next week (duplicates); or 2) RTM does not mark the task as complete and there are two duplicate tasks due in one week.
